• Statistical methods (statistical process control, design of experiments, short run SPC, process capability analysis including methods for non-normal distributions) New: guard banding for non-capable gages, process performance indices in the context of lower detection limits or non-detects, and narrow limit gauging
  
• Recommendation for ASQ certification exam preparation: If you are comfortable with self-study, I recommend the Quality Council of Indiana primers based on successful personal experience with them. Read the material and work the examples in the books, and then work the practice questions in the primer and on the practice exam CD. I was able to prepare successfully for certification exams in this manner.
• If your organization wants an instructor-led review for Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Technician, Certified Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence, Certified Reliability Engineer, or Certified Quality Auditor, Levinson Productivity Systems PC can teach them for a fixed price for any number of attendees. The price is per course, not per person. Travel and lodging (per generally accepted guidelines) will be charged for on-site training but the past year has shown that online is effective, and saves time and money all around.
